About the Markdown to HTML converter
The TConverter Markdown to HTML converter turns Markdown text into clean HTML while you type. Markdown is a lightweight way to write formatted text with simple symbols: a hash sign for headings, asterisks for bold and italic, dashes for lists and backticks for code. It is used in README files, documentation, notes apps, forums and static site generators, but web pages, email templates and many content management systems need HTML.
The editor is split into two parts. On one side you write or paste Markdown; on the other side the result updates instantly. The Preview tab shows the formatted document as it would look on a page, and the HTML code tab shows the generated markup. The page starts with a short sample so you can see right away how headings, emphasis, inline code, lists, task lists and tables are rendered.
The converter follows GitHub Flavored Markdown, so in addition to standard syntax it supports tables, task lists with checkboxes and strikethrough text. When the result looks right, you can copy the HTML to your clipboard with one click or download it as an .html file. The downloaded file is a complete, standalone HTML document with UTF-8 encoding declared, so accented and non-Latin characters display correctly when you open it in a browser.
Security is built in. Markdown may contain raw HTML, and pasted text from an unknown source could include scripts or event attributes such as onerror. Before anything is shown or exported, the HTML is cleaned with DOMPurify, which removes scripts, event handlers and javascript: links. This protects you while previewing and keeps the copied output safe to use. Because of this cleaning, intentionally embedded scripts will not appear in the result.
Everything runs in your browser, so your text is never sent to a server. That makes the tool suitable for internal documentation or drafts you do not want to share. Markdown to HTML is free, needs no account and works on both desktop and mobile.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Markdown to HTML converter free?
Yes. It is free to use and does not require an account.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. Markdown is converted and previewed entirely in your browser, so your text stays on your device.
Does it support tables and task lists?
Yes. The converter follows GitHub Flavored Markdown and supports tables, task lists and strikethrough in addition to standard Markdown syntax.
Why were scripts removed from my HTML?
For security, the output is cleaned with DOMPurify. Script tags, event attributes such as onclick and javascript: links are removed so that pasted content cannot run code in your browser.
Can I download a complete HTML page?
Yes. The .html button downloads a standalone HTML document with a UTF-8 charset declaration, ready to open in any browser.
