About the Text Tools
TConverter Text Tools is a set of everyday text utilities that all work on the same text area. As soon as you type or paste, the counters at the top show the number of words, characters, characters without spaces, lines, sentences and paragraphs. This is useful for keeping a social media post, meta description, essay or form field within a length limit without switching to another program.
The Case & Count tab converts text to UPPERCASE, lowercase or Title Case and offers Remove Extra Spaces, which collapses repeated spaces, trims the start and end of each line and reduces long runs of empty lines to a single blank line. Case conversion follows the language rules of the site language you are using. In Turkish, i becomes İ and ı becomes I; in English, i becomes I. This avoids the familiar problem of English words like this turning into THİS.
The Lines tab helps with lists and data: remove duplicate lines while keeping the first occurrence and the original order, with an optional Case sensitive switch; remove empty lines; or sort lines from A to Z or Z to A. Sorting is language-aware, so letters such as ç and ş are placed where readers expect them, and numbers are ordered naturally, putting 2 before 10. After each operation, a short message tells you, for example, how many duplicates were removed.
The Find & Replace tab replaces all matches at once and reports how many replacements were made. In plain text mode, characters like the dot or question mark are matched literally. If you enable the regular expression option, you can use full regex patterns and refer to captured groups as $1, $2 and so on in the replacement. The Compare tab places two texts side by side and shows a line-by-line difference, marking lines added in the new text and lines removed from the original. Comparison is limited to roughly 5000 × 5000 lines to keep the browser responsive.

Are the text tools free?
Yes. All text tools on TConverter are free and do not require registration.
Is my text saved or sent to a server?
No. All counting and editing happens in your browser. Your text is not uploaded or stored anywhere by the tool.
How are words and sentences counted?
Words are counted as groups of characters separated by whitespace. Sentences are counted by ending punctuation such as periods, exclamation marks and question marks, so abbreviations may slightly affect the sentence count.
Does case conversion handle the Turkish dotted and dotless i?
Yes. When the site is in Turkish, conversion uses Turkish rules (i and İ, ı and I). When the site is in English, English rules are used.
Can I use regular expressions in Find & Replace?
Yes. Enable the Regular expression (regex) option to use patterns and refer to captured groups with $1, $2 and so on in the replacement. An invalid pattern shows an error instead of changing your text.
How large can the texts in Compare be?
The comparison handles texts up to roughly 5000 × 5000 lines. Larger inputs show a message instead of a result to keep the page responsive.
