About the PDF to Excel converter
The TConverter PDF to Excel tool finds tables inside a PDF and exports them to an Excel workbook (.xlsx). Bank statements, price lists, invoices, reports and data sheets are often shared as PDF, which makes the numbers easy to read but hard to sort, filter or calculate with. Instead of retyping rows by hand, you can extract the tables and continue working in Excel, LibreOffice Calc or Google Sheets.
The tool reads the text of each page together with its position on the page. Text that sits on the same line is grouped into a row, and text that lines up vertically is grouped into columns. Pages whose content forms a consistent grid of at least two rows and two columns are recognised as tables, and empty columns are removed. Each detected table becomes its own sheet, named after the page it came from, for example Page 3.
Before you download anything, the page shows what was found: the number of tables, the page each one came from, its row and column counts, and a preview of the first five rows. This lets you check quickly whether the extraction matches your document. Column widths in the Excel file are adjusted to the content so the sheet is readable right away.
Everything runs entirely in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to a server, which makes the tool a good fit for confidential financial or business documents. Files up to 50 MB are accepted. Because detection depends on the text layer of the PDF, scanned documents that contain only images cannot be processed, and the tool will report that no tables were found. Tables with merged cells, multi-line cells or unusual layouts may need some cleanup, and since values are written to the sheet as text, you may want to convert number columns to numeric format in Excel before calculating.

Will each table be on its own sheet?
Yes. Every detected table is written to a separate sheet named after its page number, such as Page 2.
Why are numbers stored as text in Excel?
Cell values are copied exactly as they appear in the PDF and are written as text. You can convert a column to numbers in Excel if you need to use it in formulas.
